As worship leaders, God has placed us in a position of authority over the people on our team… musicians, vocalists, etc. What we do with that huge responsibility can make all of the difference. Are we setting our teams up for success or for failure?
For any leaders out there, I want to challenge you to ask yourself that question… are you setting them up for success? Sometimes that means having the “tough talks” to challenge your team to reach their full potential. As their leader, you obviously want the best for them, so allowing someone to become complacent is sending them mixed signals.
Don’t let your fear of confrontation stop you from being honest with your team. There is always a loving way to help someone lose an attitude of mediocrity and gain one of excellence.
Lets give God our best!
