Rage at Elevation

This past weekend we kicked off our F Bomb Series on forgiveness.  We decided to match the aggressive name of the series with an aggressive opening song.  Hope you enjoy.

AWESOME Video… Thanks for posting this!!!! It’s neat to see the finished product. Post the words – they are equally powerful.

Nice adaptation. Were each of the campus rappers supposed to write their own lyrics?

I’m new to Elevation and I am new to the music here. I am getting use to it though. Having the words up on the screen has helped. If the words had been up there it would have helped me enjoy it…

Rock on! Just that morning I was thinking of worship and how would the saints of the OT do it today and I totally pictured Isaiah in Isaiah 6. There is Isaiah standing before the throne of God and the smoke is swirling around in the temple and thundering noise. He falls on his face and then gets up and ROCKS OUT!! I imagined Jesus tapping his toes on the streets of gold to some pounding beat. I’m cranking my car stereo picturing the scene- Jesus yelling “Rock On!” to his people. And then you guys make it happen! I wasn’t thinking Rage Against the Machine- but, shoot, I’m sure Jesus digs some Rage! Somewhere I think the Bible tells us that when we worship we gather with the angels and I bet you the angels had the mosh pit going Sunday morning for sure!! I’m totally digging it. Jesus the headbanger! Some people are so stuffy and think that God wants us to be still on Sunday mornings- I am so glad that we know that what God wants is for us to have some fun! If Jesus were here today you know he’d be laying down some tracks for the Father! Keep it up!!

I literally starting crying when I saw this video. I’m not even sure exactly why, but to see a song like this being used to glorify the name of our amazing savior, and what he’s done for us…simply…blows my mind! Thank you for this.

This is one of my absolute favorite covers Elevation has done! I actually thought myself crazy on my way in (completely unknowing the awesomeness to ensue) that with a series like F-BOMB, how great it would be for a RAtM cover. I was extremely caught off guard and blown away! Awesome adaptation for God’s glory!!!
